The first time I was introduced to "Bless the Broken Road" by Rascall Flatts, was in my sisters car. I usually am not a huge fan of country music but this song actually had meaning and related to me. The song is mostly a love song, but it can be taken as a different way to look at life. Everyone who comes in and out of our lives, no matter how big or small of an impact they have, was meant to shape our future and path God has for us and no matter how many times you fall, you have to keep trying and work through problems and everything will fall into place.
Bless The Broken Road
I set out on a narrow way many years ago
Hoping I would find true love along the broken road
But I got lost a time or two
Wiped my brow and kept pushing through
I couldn't see how every sign pointed straight to you
Every long lost dream led me to where you are
Others who broke my heart they were like northern stars
Pointing me on my way into your loving arms
This much I know is true
That God blessed the broken road
That led me straight to you
I think about the years I spent just passing through
I'd like to have the time I lost and give it back to you
But you just smile and take my hand
You've been there you understand
It's all part of a grander plan that is coming true
Every long lost dream led me to where you are
Others who broke my heart they were like northern stars
Pointing me on my way into your loving arms
This much I know is true
That God blessed the broken road
That led me straight to you
Now I’m just rollin’ home into my lover's arms
This much I know is true
That God blessed the broken road that led me straight to you
MY PROMPT

Describe a time where you felt someone made an impact on your life without them even knowing so.

Well Nat this is a little personal about this was about 2 or 3 years ago when i felt that the whole world only looked at you from a black or white point of view. A friend of mine was talking to about life and he said something that really made think about how backwards i had been looking at everything. And how meaningless it was for me to let that wrap my mind. He really boosted my confidence and made me feel like the world was all one color. and thats the time someone had an impact on my life and they still don't know how much i need it at that time.
